CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its Division II All-Region honorees Monday, with three Greyhounds appearing on the list.
Pilar Echeverria,
Cailyn Henderson and
Anna Kramer earned inclusion, taking up three of the 10 All-East Region spots.
Â
The news brings Echeverria her fourth all-region nod, joining former-teammate
Katharina Keilich as the only four-time honorees in program history. Fresh off being named the
GLVC Player of the Year for the fourth time, Echeverria broke her own school record with a jaw-dropping 71.6 season scoring average, placing first or second in five of six tournaments.
Â
Henderson became a two-time all-region recipient, ranking second on the team with 74.3 average. She won or shared the individual medal at two of six events in 2019-20, including the 72-woman
Music City Invitational in which she fired a nine-under 135 to match the program record for lowest 36-hole score.
Â
Kramer, meanwhile, garnered her first all-region accolades after compiling a career-low 75.1 average. She finished in the top six on three occasions, once while carding a collegiate-low 68 at the aforementioned Music City Invite.
Â
UIndy's three honorees matched Findlay's total for most in the region. GLVC-newcomer Lindenwood (2) was the only other school with multiple winners.
