INDIANAPOLIS – A recent postponement created an opening in the UIndy men's basketball team's schedule this week, one they quickly filled with an in-state rival. With McKendree unable to safely make the trip to Indianapolis on Thursday, Jan. 14, the Greyhounds will instead host the University of Southern Indiana, making good on a previously-postponed contest that was originally scheduled for Dec. 20.
 
The shuffling creates a rare scheduling quirk this week, as the Hounds will play USI in back-to-back games. After welcoming the Screaming Eagles to Nicoson Hall Thursday, both squads will pack up and head south for the teams' regular-scheduled matchup in Evansville, Ind., Saturday afternoon.
