INDIANAPOLIS- The #T7 UIndy wrestling team fell to #6 McKendree, 20-11, Sunday in Great Lakes Valley Conference action from the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.
The Greyhounds (4-1) took losses by decision in the first three matches of the dual, giving the Bearcats a 9-0 lead going into the 149 match.
Logan Bailey (5-0) put UIndy on the board with a 3-1 decision over Nathan Callaway at 149, starting a four-bout streak of Greyhound wins.Â

Dawson Combest (4-1) came away with a 4-3 win in TB-2 at 157 over #8 Nate Smalling, with #6
Jack Eiteljorge moving to 5-0 on the season with an 8-6 win over Cory Peterson at 165 to knot the dual score at 9-9.Â
At 174, #7
Andrew Sams (3-0) pushed the Greyhounds to their only lead of the dual with a 3-2 upset of the Bearcats' #2 Josh Jones. Sams would notch the final UIndy win of the day, however, as McKendree would close out the dual with wins at 184, 197 and 285 to take the team win.
Next up for the #T7 Hounds is a three-dual day at Lake Erie Saturday, with UIndy taking on Davenport, the host Storm and #9 Ashland as part of the Storm Duals.
