INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Indianapolis women's soccer team outshot the Missouri S&T Miners by nearly double in earning its second tie of the season in the double overtime match, bringing the overall record to 8-2-2.
From kickoff it was clear the two teams were going to make for a tight match up in Key Stadium, with 17 total fouls committed and two yellow cards. It was a physical game that entertained fans on Friday night.
Senior
Taylor Peck led the Hounds, making two shots with both landing on goal. She was matched by freshman
Sarah Wegener, who took four shots with two on goal.
Sophia Saucerman earned a clean sheet in her 110 minutes in net, earning four saves.
Kristin Steins manned the goal for the Miners, posting six saves.
