Jay Thompson finished runner-up on the day at the event, held at the University of Findlay.Â
Bailey (12-1) went 6-0 on the day en route to the bracket title, with three pins in a combined 2:11 among his six wins. He punctuated his day with a 5-4 win over #4 Carson Speelman of Ashland, with the Greyhound freshman taking his second career win over the two-time All-American for the Eagles.Â
Thompson went 4-1 on the day on the way to his second place finish. The Greyhound freshman tallied wins over a pair of NCAA Division I opponents on the day in his first action of the young season.Â
UIndy will be off next weekend for the Thanksgiving holiday, and will return to action Dec. 4 at Indiana Little State, held at Wabash this season.Â
