EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Indianapolis dropped its first conference matchup of the season to GLVC Rival, Southern Indiana, on Monday night. The 77-62 loss marked the Hounds fifth loss of the season, bringing UIndy's overall record to 1-5.
 
After contributing 10 points during her first game of her career in the Hounds most recent home win to Lake Erie, Elana Wells has continued to put her foot on the gas and prove that she is a force to be reconned by shooting 100 percent from three while contributing 16 points, along with four rebounds, and three assists.
 
Taylor Drury posted 14 points and Sadie Hill hit 11. The Greyhounds earned 30 points in the paint, and were out rebounded 41-28.
 
Southern Indiana was led by Hannah Haithcock with 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
