INDIANAPOLIS – In a match that featured a large crowd of both UIndy and Illinois Springfield,
Alejandro Steinwascher shined by contributing on all three goals scored by the University of Indianapolis men's soccer team in a clean 3-0 win over Illinois Springfield at Key Stadium. The Hounds are now set to play in the Super Region 3 final on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy found the scoreboard early in just the 12th minute of action when Steinwascher glided past a defender and touched a pass to
Owen Atkison who fired a shot into the back of the net. This helped the Hounds carry a 1-nil lead into the halftime locker room.

Steinwascher continued his strong night by finding himself on the scoring end of play in the 68th minute when he took control of the ball and beat the defense for his 13th goal of the season.

Finally, to cap off a four point offensive night, Steinwascher dished a pass off to
Seth Ward who crushed a ball past a diving goalkeeper.
