CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The UIndy women's golf team earned the No. 2 spot in the spring's first Women's Golf Coaches Association DII Poll, announced by the WGCA Friday. The Greyhounds are coming off a near-perfect fall slate, winning all three tournaments last semester.
 
The Hounds garnered 361 points and two first-place votes in the poll, trailing only Dallas Baptist and its 373 points. No other GLVC school appeared in the top 25, though the rankings did include potential East Region-rivals Findlay (4th), Grand Valley State (18th) and Tiffin (24th).
 
UIndy is scheduled to open the spring schedule in Miramar, Fla., March 14-15 for the Emerald Coast Classic.
