TEMPE, Ariz. – Both University of Indianapolis tennis programs garnered their highest-ever rankings in the freshly-released Oracle ITA Division II Rankings. The Greyhound men are positioned at No. 4, while the women ascended to No. 1 in the nation.

The UIndy women received seven of eight first-place votes to top the national poll for the first time ever. The Hounds are coming off a perfect run through the
ITA DII Team Indoor Championship, sweeping through a loaded eight-team bracket without dropping a point. They currently sport an undefeated mark of 8-0, with all six of their DII wins coming against ranked opponents.

The Greyhound men elbowed their way into the top four with a successful showing of their own at the
ITA DII Team Indoor Championship. UIndy took down a pair of top-10 teams in route to a runner-up finish. The Hounds are 6-1 on the season, with their only loss coming to top-ranked Columbus State in the ITA Indoor final.

UP NEXT
Both teams head south next week for their annual Spring Break trip. The men kick things off with an exhibition match against the University of Mobile on Monday, March 15. Both teams will face West Alabama the next day in Pensacola, Fla.
