The UIndy men's basketball team battled its way into the GLVC Tournament field, earning the eighth seed and a trip to top-seeded Truman State University for Wednesday's quarterfinal round. The Greyhounds will be making their 12th consecutive conference tourney appearance.

UIndy's postseason berth is a testament to the resilience of this Greyhound squad. Heading into this season with a brand new coaching staff, essentially a new team, and no preseason exhibitions or non-conference games on which to build, the Hounds started the year with seven consecutive losses and looking for answers.

But on Jan. 14, the Greyhounds earned a 62-61 comeback win versus in-state-rival Southern Indiana (and former UIndy head coach Stan Gouard), and the Hounds were off and running. They went on to win 10 of their last 14 games and ultimately claw their way into the postseason picture.
