INDIANAPOLIS - UIndy sophomore Tom Zeuch and junior Nikol Alekseeva have been named the GLVC Players of the Week respectively in men's and women's tennis, released by the league office Tuesday. The announcement marks the second time this season the Greyhound duo collected the honor in the same week.

• Went undefeated at No. 2 position and helped UIndy defeat 22nd-ranked West Alabama
• Beat West Alabama's Illari Vesanen 7-6, 7-5 after a 6-2 doubles win over Nuutti Jokinen and Noah Johansen with partner Yoann Viel
• Won 6-4 over West Florida's Serdar Bojadjiev and Adam Svensson before upsetting No. 1 ranked Nocolas Lecoutre in three sets: 6-3, 2-6, 6-3
• Earns second career Player of the Week award (3/23/21, 2/23/21)

WOMEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

• Helped UIndy to pair wins over ranked opponents with undefeated performance at No. 1 position
• Partnered with Anna Novikova for doubles wins over West Alabama's Sarah Manseri and Heden Ly, 6-1, as well as West Florida's Berta Bondari and Sara Yigin, 6-3
• Defeated Halina Franco of West Alabama 6-7, 7-5, 6-3, before getting win over No. 1 ranked Bonardi of West Florida in straight sets 6-2, 6-4
• Earns fourth career Player of the Week award (3/23/21, 2/23/21, 2/18/19, 4/2/19)
