INDIANAPOILIS – Alex Equihua set them up and the Greyhounds front line slammed them down. The University of Indianapolis Volleyball team posted 33 kills in the three set win against the McKendree Bearcats on Saturday, March 27 at the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center. 
 
Equihua continued to dominate the setter position with 26 assists off of 68 sets on the day. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Senior Taylor Jacquay was out to make her second to last match in Ruth Lilly a great one, and that was exactly what she did. Contributing nine kills, two blocks, one service ace, and 10 digs, Jacquay led the Hounds to their Saturday afternoon victory. Her energy sang through her cheers and filled each ball that she attacked full of power. 
 
The Hounds proved to be big on the net, Hannah Huppenbauer blocked three balls in leading UIndy, while Elizabeth Eads followed with two. Huppenbauer killed three balls while Eads killed five. 
 
MaKenna Barnhart dug up 15 balls for UIndy, while also adding three assists. 
 
The Bearcats were led by Colleen Preusser with 15 kills, and six digs. While Gracie Marr lead McKendree on assists with 18. 
 
INS AND OUTS
The Greyhounds held the Bearcats under 100 attacking percentage throughout all three sets.
The Hounds posted four service aces on the day

The Greyhounds had a total of 10 blocks on the day.
