ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The UIndy women's tennis team had another dominating performance today against the Lindenwood Lions. They completely swept doubles, not dropping a single point, leading to a 6-1 victory. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles had the Hounds present one of their best showings of the season with all three matches being 6-0 wins. The No. 1 pair in the country of junior Nikol Alekseeva and junior Anna Novikova took action first followed by the No. 3 team pair in the country, seniors Alina Kislitskaya and Kristina Lagoda. Junior Maria Solynshkina and sophomore Sofia Sharonova finished last. 

Singles kicked off with Sharonova almost replicating her doubles success with a 6-0,  6-1 win. She was followed by Novikova situated in the No. 1 slot, giving Alekseeva rest, as she won in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. Solynhskina was next with a two set win 6-3, 6-2. 

Lagoda, the No. 42 player in the country, won her match 6-1, 7-5. In the final two matches of the evening, freshman Lorraine Lissman won 7-5, 6-4 while freshman Sahra Bouchaala fell 4-6, 1-6.

UP NEXT
The Hounds hope to finish the season undefeated as they travel to Evansville, Ind. to take on the University of Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles on April 23.
