INDIANAPOLIS - After dethroning then-No. 1 Lindenwood to become the 2021 GLVC Women's Lacrosse Champions, the UIndy women's lacrosse team (14-1, 6-1 GLVC) was given the No. 1 seed in NCAA DII Midwest Region in the 2021 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship.

The Greyhounds will first compete on Lindenwood's campus in St. Charles, Mo. on Sunday, May 16 against the winner between second-seeded Lindenwood and third-seeded Regis (Colo.). That contest will kick off at 1 p.m. ET.

The winner of that contest will be the Midwest's representative in the NCAA semifinal rounds on Friday, May 21. The games will commence at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Salem, Va. Teams will not know which time slot they will take as each region's winner will be reseeded among the other three programs. The 2021 DII Women's Lacrosse Championship will take place on Sunday, May 23 at 2 p.m. ET at Kerr Stadium.
