INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy Men's Basketball Head Coach Paul Corsaro is putting the final touches on his 2021-22 roster. The Greyhounds recently signed three newcomers in transfer Eric Moenkhaus and true freshmen Joey Bomba and Josh Hines. Eric Moenkhaus
G | 6'3'' | 180 lbs. | Greenwood, IN | Greenwood Community HS | Denver University
- Local product returns home after previously attending Lincoln Trail College and Division I Denver University
- Last season at Denver shot 43.5% from the field and 92.3% from the charity stripe, averaging 5.6 ppg and 1.3 rpg
- Scored 1,083 points in three seasons at Greenwood to become fifth-leading scorer in school history
- 2017-18 IBCA Academic All-State Honorable Mention and Mid-State Scholar Athlete Award recipient
- Comes to UIndy with three years of eligibility
Joey Bomba
G/F | 6'5" | 185 lbs. | Bloomington, IN | Bloomington South
- All-State honoree and Herald Times Player of the Year as a senior in 2020-21
- Two-time all-conference selection
- Led Bloomington South to a 26-0 record and sectional title as a junior before season was canceled; team was also ranked in the top 25 in the nation
- Career averages of 15 points, five rebounds, two assists and one block per game
Josh Hines
G | 6'2'' | 160 lbs. | Macomb, MI | Dakota HS
- Averaged 25.5 points per game with 6.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists and three steals per game as a senior last year
- School record holder for points in a single game (43)
- Three-time team Offensive Player of the Year and two-time All-State selection
- Four-time MAC Red Conference Champion, two-time District Champion, one Regional Championship and one Regional runner-up
