TEMPE, Ariz. – Fifteen student-athletes from the UIndy men's and women's tennis teams earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, the organization announced recently. Ten men and six women carried at least a 3.5 GPA for the Greyhounds in 2020-21, with the men's total good for 12th in Division II.
 
Each program was also recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team, accumulating a minimum 3.2 GPA as a unit. One hundred and four NCAA DII programs on the women's side claimed the award, while 80 men's squads were listed.

The ITA's announcement further supplemented a stellar season for UIndy tennis, as the Greyhound men advanced to the national semifinal while the women's lone loss came in the NCAA DII Championship final.
