#2 Hounds Continue Win Streak With 3-0 Victory over Southern Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS - Adding another win to its total this season, the No. 2 University of Indianapolis men's soccer team took down Southern Indiana in a Great Lakes Valley Conference showdown by a final of 3-0 at Key Stadium on Friday night. The win improves the Hounds to a perfect 4-0, including a 2-0 mark in the GLVC.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half of action saw UIndy with a handful of great opportunities to jump out ahead in the match. The Hounds produced 11 total shots while the Screaming Eagles had just five. Corner kicks also went in favor of the Greyhounds, with the team producing three while Southern Indiana had none to its name. Despite the shot difference, it was USI who managed three shots on goal compared to just two from UIndy. Notably, Greyhound goalkeeper Dimitrios Karousos corralled a pair of back-to-back saves towards the end of the half to help keep Southern Indiana off the board.

Finally, for the second game in a row, it was Dylan Bollard who scored the opening goal of the match, this time in the 55th minute off an assist from Vincent Stone. A little later, Eli Dulle beat the defense and netted a goal of his own in the 64th minute off an assist from Alejandro Steinwascher. The Greyhounds continued to pack a strong punch when Owen Atkison scored the final goal of the match by sending one past the keeper in the 76th minute on an assist from Kendall Allen.
