DENTON, Texas – Facing a national-championship-caliber field, the No. 3-ranked UIndy women's golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Dallas Baptist University Women's Classic, held at Wildhorse Golf Club at Robson Ranch in Denton, Texas Monday and Tuesday. Fifth-year senior
Anna Kramer (71-68-75) captured all-tournament honors at -2, good for a share of second.
Fourteen of the 18 teams in attendance were receiving votes in the latest
WGCA DII Coaches Poll, including half the coaches' top 10. No. 2 Lynn (+7) secured the team title, finishing ahead of seventh-ranked St. Mary's (+14), top-ranked and host DBU (+15) and UIndy (+22).
For the
second straight week, Kramer penciled in a 68 on her scorecard to once again match her collegiate low. The impressive tally came in Monday's second round, with her lone boogie coming on the par-4 18th.
Senior
Elyse Stasil (73-74-71) saved her best score for last, carding a one-under 71 Tuesday to jump up 13 spots and take sole possession of 10th at +2. Junior
Katelyn Skinner finished at +13 to tie for 43rd, while freshman
Anci Dy and junior
Catharina Graf shared 59th at +17.

After a week off, the Greyhounds face off against a number of regional foes at the annual William Beall Fall Classic, set for Oct. 4-5 in Findlay, Ohio. Held at Findlay Country Club, the Hounds are the two-time reigning champs at the event.
