ALLENDALE, Mich. – The University of Indianapolis men's tennis squad wrapped up the weekend at the ITA Midwest Regionals on Sunday afternoon. Nikolaj Talimaa was named the runner-up in the A draw, going 6-1 within the singles bracket.
 
The junior has been a sparkplug on the Greyhounds team, playing with excitement and intensity, and found himself in the finals, only to fall to Hillsdale's Brennan Cimpeaunu, 6-4.
 
2021 ITA Rookie of the Year Tom Zeuch, went 2-1 in singles, while Zac Faveri and Yoann Viel also earned 2-1 records.
 
On the doubles side, Zeuch and Faveri battled their way to the quarterfinals, going 2-1 in the bracket.
 
The ITA Cup will be held in Rome, Ga., on October 14.
