ROLLA, Mo. – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team fell victim to an upset loss on Sunday afternoon at Missouri S&T. The Miners, who entered the match with just four total wins on the season, broke the Greyhounds seven-game winning streak and won by a final of 3-2 on their home field. This marks the first time since 2012 that UIndy has lost to Missouri S&T in men's soccer.

The Hounds now sit at 9-3-3 overall on the season with a 6-3-2 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy found itself behind in just the 13th minute of play after Missouri S&T netted the first goal of the game. The Hounds would add the equalizer a short time later in the 17th minute on a goal by
Michael Tselios off a short penalty kick pass from
Jakob David. However, S&T entered the locker room up after scoring once again in the 37th minute on a penalty kick.

Unfortunately for the Greyhounds, the Miners would take a two goal advantage in the 76th minute on another goal, and this proved to be the difference maker. Despite a penalty kick goal by
Ibo Yilmaz in the 77th minute, the Miners held on to claim the upset win.
