Hounds Sweep PNC GLVC Swim & Dive Athlete of the Week Awards

INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis graduate student Kaitlyn McCoy and sophomore Cedric Buessing have been named the GLVC Athletes of the Week in women's and men's swimming and diving, respectively.

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Kaitlyn McCoy | Phoenix, AZ
Graduate Student | Back/IM
Major: English and Social Studies Teaching
Team Results: 176-115 L at Purdue (10/21) | 155-143 W vs. #18 Grand Valley State (10/22)

Finished first at Purdue in 200 backstroke (2:01.78)
Finished second at Purdue in 200 freestyle (1:53.98) and 200 individual medley (2:08.75)
Finished first with season-best and NCAA B-cut times against GVSU in 200 back (1:58.67), 200 IM (2:03.20), and 400 medley relay (3:46.41; 54.93 Back split), while also winning 100 back (55.23)
Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
