INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's basketball team was voted atop the 2022-23 GLVC preseason coaches' poll, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.

The poll featured the each of the league's 13 institutions, with UIndy receiving 136 points and seven first-place votes. Per GLVC policy, head coaches are not permitted to vote for their own team.

The Greyhounds return All-GLVC Second Team honoree
Jesse Bingham, who also earned a place on the league's All-Defensive team a season ago. In addition,
Kendrick Tchoua has posted a 62.6 field-goal percentage over the past two seasons and currently ranked third in program history in the category.

Head coach
Paul Corsaro enters his third season on the Greyhound bench. UIndy has gone 30-23 during Corsaro's tenure and is coming off a run to the GLVC title game last March.

Southwest Baptist finished second in the preseason poll, collecting 131 points and five first-place votes. Lewis, Truman, and William Jewell rounded out the top five. The complete rankings can be found below.
