INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's basketball team (2-0) capped its opening weekend with another regional victory, downing the visiting Lake Erie Storm (0-1) by a score of 78-65.

Jakobie Robinson posted his fourth-career double-double, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The senior also added four assists and two blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds were hot from 3-point range all afternoon, drilling six-of-11 attempts from deep in the opening half, including Robinson's third triple at the buzzer to build a 37-36 lead for the hosts.

Similar to Friday night, UIndy dominated the second half in spectacular fashion.
Jesse Bingham scored nine of his 14 points in the final 20 minutes, while
Ben Nicoson went 3-of-4 from the field, including a pair of 3-pointers. The Greyhounds shot 60.9 percent from the field in the second half, with half of the team's buckets coming from distance. Robinson drilled three 3-balls after the break, with
Sean Craig and
Josiah Tynes also chipping in a triple.

Jarvis Walker provided another spark, recording nine points, three assists, and two steals in 21+ minutes off the bench. The sophomore also went a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- UIndy used a 14-0 run in the first half to build an early 19-10 lead. Five Greyhounds scored during that stretch, including 3s from Craig and Robinson.
- Speaking of Craig, the freshman finished 4-of-6 from the field against the Storm, including a 3-of-5 performance from behind the arc. The Sylvania, Ohio, product is now 6-of-8 from deep in his first two collegiate contests.
- The Hounds secured eight offensive rebounds in the win, scoring 12 second-chance points. Six different players finished with one o-board.
- After a slow start, Bingham scored nine of his 14 points and tallied five of his six rebounds in the second half.
