BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The UIndy men's basketball team dropped its lone exhibition contest of the season on Tuesday evening, suffering a 68-50 defeat at Western Kentucky.
Â
The Greyhounds remain 2-0 on the young campaign, while the Hilltoppers improve to 3-0, as it counted as a regular season game for the hosts.
Â
David Ejah recorded 11 points and five rebounds, while
Sean Craig drilled four triples off the bench.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
A pair of 3-pointers from
Aaron Etherington and Ejah knotted the game at 27 apiece with 5:10 on the clock in the opening half. However, the Hilltoppers used an 11-0 run in the final three minutes to pull away and lead at the break, 38-27.

HOUND BYTES
Head coach Paul Corsaro's overall thoughts on the game...
"I'm really proud of guys tonight, especially on the defensive end. We held a team that averages 97 points to 68, and held them to under 40-percent shooting from the field. We outrebounded a team that has NBA length. Our kids battled for 40 minutes and there were opportunities to win that game. We have to clean some stuff up on offense, but overall we got better today."
