INDIANAPOLIS – In their final home game of the regular season the University of Indianapolis men's basketball team posted an 80-53 win over Drury University in GLVC action.  The Hounds finish the season with an 11-5 record inside Nicoson Hall, their best home record under head coach Paul Corsaro.

UIndy finishes their final home stand of the season with a pair of wins.  The Hounds outscored their opponents 160-103 in the victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers scored the first basket of the game but it was all Hounds from there as they never relinquished the lead.  Midway through the first half Kendrick Tchoua notched a lay up to give UIndy their first double digit lead of the night.  Tchoua finished with 14 points in the first half alone on five-of-six shooting.

The second half opened with an 11-3 run from the Hounds to give them a 52-31 lead.  Aaron Etherington capped off the run with a fast break three on the assist from Josiah Tynes.

UIndy's defense clamped down in the second half, holding Drury to just eight made field goals while shooting 25.8%.  Etherington knocked back another three in the final five minutes to put the Hounds ahead by 27 for their largest lead of the game.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Kendrick Tchoua led the Hounds with 18 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for his fifth double double of the season.
- Three other Hounds finished in double figures in Cory Miller Jr. (15), Dee Montgomery (14) and Jesse Bingham (13).
- Jakobie Robinson posted a season-best four steals.

The Hounds close out the regular season on the road next week, traveling to Lindenwood on Thursday and Maryville on Saturday.
