INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team bounced back against No. 11 North Georgia during ITA Indoor National Championship on Saturday afternoon, defeating UNG 4- 0.

UIndy made a fast impact by dominating doubles, with
Tom Zeuch and
Zac Faveri taking a quick 6-3 win in the one spot.
Nikolaj Talimaa and
Pedro Franca followed that with a win in the three spot by a score of 6-2.
Yoann Viel and
Edgar Destouet did not complete their match.
In singles,
Yoann Viel was the first to finish earning his win with scores of 6-4 and 6-0. Freshman
Edgar Destouet was the next to find victory, downing UNG's Cole Brainard 6-2, 6-0.
Jason Gerweck secured the win for the Greyhounds in the six spot, defeating Giulio Sassi 6-1, 6-0.
Vs. #9 SAINT LEO
In doubles,
Yoann Viel and
Edgar Destouet took the first win of the night, defeating Saint Leo's Vincent Thiel and Bradley Eidenmuller 6-3.
Nikolaj Talimaa and
Pedro Franca fell 6-4 after making a energetic three straight point run to end the second match.
It came down to the numbers one doubles as
Tom Zeuch and
Zac Faveri were tied at 6-6. The high energy match was not enough to overcome the Lions who stole the 7-6 win.
In singles action the Lions took an early lead going up 2-0 on the Hounds.
Yoann Viel answered back by winning his match in pair of 6-4 sets. Then answered with another Lions win, followed by another Hounds singles win by
Nikolaj Talimaa who took his victory off a 6-2 and 6-4 match.
Tom Zeuch also took his match 6-3, 7-6.
