Hounds Honor Seniors in Final Regular Season Home Game

INDIANAPOLIS—The UIndy women's basketball team hosted the No. 4-ranked Drury Lady Panthers Saturday afternoon at Nicoson Hall. After a special Senior Day presentation, the Greyhounds fell to the top-five opponent, 84-56.

Prior to the game, Liz Alsot, Paige Barrett, Taylor Drury and Mickey and Shira Sasson were each recognized for their hard work and dedication to the program. The quintet has put in countless hours as key members of the program, helping the Hounds to 58 wins and counting in the last five years combined.

INS & OUTS
A perennial power in Division II, Drury proved too much for the shorthanded Hounds. Led by the inside presence of Alana Findley and the all-around contributions from Paige Robinson, the Lady Panthers shot 44 percent from the field and forced 24 turnovers.

Nevertheless, UIndy outscored the Panthers in the fourth quarter, 16-14, including scoring the game's final seven points. Taylor Drury led the way with 15 points as the only Greyhound in double figures. Ilani Williams-Harris and Liv Becker each finished with nine points while Marissa Knobloch chipped in eight points, four rebounds and two steals.

INSIDE THE BOX
- Drury hit her 194th career 3-pointer Saturday, good for fourth in the UIndy all-time rankings. She is one of only 14 players in program history with at least 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.
- Alsot added five points, a rebound and a steal in 13 minutes played.
- Williams-Harris and Mya Scheidt each tallied five assists.
- UIndy combined to sink 17 of 22 free throws shots, its second-highest number of FT attempts all season.
