NORFOLK, Va. – Both swimming & diving programs at the University of Indianapolis now rank No. 2 in the recent CSCAA NCAA Division II Top 25 poll, officials announced on Tuesday.
Beginning on the women's side, Queens (NC) remains in front of UIndy at the top of the ranking with 150 points. The Greyhounds collected 144 points to sit in front of Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) foe Drury who managed 138 points in the No. 3 spot.
For the men, Drury has made a jump ahead of UIndy at the top with 146 points while the Hounds are close behind with 145 points. Queens (NC) is No. 3 with 141 points.
Ahead of the upcoming GLVC Championships, the conference makes a heavy appearance in the poll on both sides. For the women, UIndy (No. 2), Drury (No. 3), Lindenwood (No. 7), McKendree (No. 18), and Truman (No. 25) all see a spot in the top 25. For the men, Drury (No. 1), UIndy (No. 2), McKendree (No. 4), Lindenwood (No. 6), Missouri S&T (No. 19), Lewis (receiving votes), and Missouri-Saint Louis (receiving votes) all appear in the rankings.
The Greyhounds will begin the GLVC Championships on Wednesday and will compete through Saturday in Elkhart, IN.
