NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Three unanswered third quarter goals would put the Hounds out of the Cavaliers range. The University of Indianapolis women's lacrosse team defeated Walsh 14-6 on Friday afternoon.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds and Walsh started with a back and forth first half, and after ending the third quarter up 11-5.
 
Despite a handful of Cavaliers goals in the fourth, the Hounds secured the win with a 
Quinn Malcolm goal.
 
The Greyhounds were led by Malcolm who earned four goals off six shots while 
Abigail Lagos also contributed two goals.
 
Cassidy King took charge of the second half and was credited with the win for the Greyhounds in net, making three saves. 
Audrey Moran contributed three saves as well.
 
Kathleen Mendenhall had 12 saves for Walsh.
 
INSIDE THE BOX 
-The Hounds outshot Walsh 39 to 21.
-UIndy caused 16 turnovers and completed every clear.
-Both team picked up 21 ground balls.
