INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team edged GLVC opponent Lindenwood, 4-0, on Friday afternoon on the Center Grove High School courts. The Hounds extend their record to 14-3.
By taking an early 1-0 lead after earning three straight 6-2 doubles matches, the Greyhounds gave no room for the Lions in singles.
Zac Faveri and
Nikolaj Talimaa headed the duos by taking the win in the No. 1 spot.
Yoann Viel was the first to finish with a 6-1, 6-0 set. It was then
Jason Gerweck and
Edgar Destouet to complete the win for the Greyhounds, with Gerweck taking a 6-1, 6-2 win and Destouet taking the No. 1 spot win with 6-0, 6-1.
