INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy women's tennis team defeated the Maryville Saints, 7-0, on Saturday morning on the courts of Center Grove High School bringing it's overall record to 14-2.
Taking an early sweep in doubles was
Anna Novikova and
Maria Solnyshkina took the win in the No. 1 position with a 6-0 win, while the Greyhounds took both the two and three wins to secure the first point of the match.
The Hounds did not let up, taking every single point, with both
Lea Cakarevic and
Arina Amaning taking a pair of 6-1 sets to complete their matches. Along with Novikova earning a 6-0 sweep in the No. 1 spot, and
Isabella Dunlap taking the win in 6-0, 6-2.
Kristina Lagoda and Maisaane Aik also earned wins in their matches.
