INDIANAPOLIS— The UIndy football program ended its 2022 spring ball schedule with the annual UIndy Spring Game Saturday afternoon at Key Stadium. After the seniors drafted their rosters earlier in the week, the black squad topped the grey squad by a final of 13-7.
Â
The black team got on the board with a first-quarter score. After the defense forced a three-and-out, the offense delivered a quick strike, first with a 36-yard pass from
Connor Kinnett to
Logan Koehne and then with a two-yard TD plunge from
Marcel Atisso.
Â
Later, Kinnett would find
Alonzo Derrick in the end zone to make it a two-score lead for the black team, putting them up 13-0 late in the third.
Â
The grey squad finally got on the board with a touchdown drive in the final minutes. Getting the ball back with just 4:19 left, grey drove 37 yards  for its lone TD.
