WATERLOO, Ill.—The UIndy women's golf team wrapped up another long day at the 2022 GLVC Championships Saturday, playing 36 holes at Annbriar Golf Club for the second day in a row. In the morning, the Greyhounds put together a solid final round of stroke play to advance to medal/match play portion, then authored a semifinal win versus fourth-seeded Drury in the afternoon to punch their ticket to Sunday's final.

Missouri-St. Louis will join the Hounds in Sunday's final, as they defeated No. 2 seed Lindenwood, 3-1-1, in their half of the bracket. With forecasted weather conditions complicating matters, the plab of of this posting Saturday night includes a a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. ET. Follow

Four Greyhounds ended the 54 holes of stroke play in the top 10, with three earning All-GLVC accolades as top-five finishers. Junior
Catharina Graf (+7) topped them all, securing conference medalist honors by five strokes. The Frankfort, Germany native became the ninth Greyhound to earn medalist or co-medalist honors at the conference championships.

Anci Dy (+15) and
Elyse Stasil (+18) also garnered all-league recognition, placing third and fourth, respectively. Both Graf and Dy are first-time All-GLVC honorees while Stasil is a repeat offender. Additionally, UIndy has now placed three or more individuals on the all-conference team in each of the last 11 years.

Katelyn Skinner (+24) earned sole possession of 10th place, while freshman
Ellen Caton (+37) shared 27th.

SEMIFINAL RESULTS
Three Greyhounds came away with wins in the semifinal pairings. Skinner earned the largest victory, winning her match by nine strokes, 77-86. Dy notched a point, outshooting her opponent 81-85, while Graf outlasted her opponent 76-77.

FRIDAY
The Greyhounds kicked off their conference title defense with a solid opening day. Topping the leaderboard after 36 holes, the Hounds (+44) look to remain in a top-four spot after Saturday morning's final round of stroke play to advance the medal/match play semifinals, now moved to Saturday afternoon/evening.

With four of the five Greyhounds making their conference championship debut, UIndy built a 15-stroke lead through 36 holes, passing and pulling away from second-place UMSL with a second-round team score of 306 – the lowest single-round score of the tournament thus far.

Catharina Graf at +5. Graf carded scores of 74-75 Friday to top the field by three strokes.

Senior
Elyse Stasil, the only Greyhound with GLVC Championships experience, sits in third place at +10. Stasil, who eagled the par-4, 361-yard 10th in the second round, is looking to stay in the top five and earn her second straight All-GLVC nod.
