ST. LOUIS, MO. – The University of Indianapolis women's tennis team took four straight points away from the Rockhurst Hawks in securing it's ticket to the Great Lakes Valley Conference semifinals on Friday afternoon at the Vetta West Tennis Center in St. Louis, Mo.

The Hounds kicked off by taking a perfect sweep in doubles with
Anna Novikova and Marina Solnyshkina taking a 6-0 win in the No. 1 spot, followed by the two and three's taking 6-2 wins. With
Arina Amaning and
Maissane Aik taking the No. 2 win and the No. 3 being
Isabella Dunlap and
Sofia Sharonova.

In singles,
Lea Cakarevic was the first to take a win by not allowing a single point in taking two 6-0 sets in winning er match. Amaning took a 6-2, 6-0 win in the five spot. GLVC Player of the Year,
Anna Novikova would close it off for the Hounds in the win, with a 6-2 and 6-0 win.
