INDIANAPOLIS— The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Tuesday its 2022 postseason awards. UIndy led the way with four All-GLVC honorees and a pair of major award winners in GLVC Player of the Year Anna Kramer and Coach of the Year Brent Nicoson.
 
GLVC-medalist Catharina Graf, senior Elyse Stasil and freshman Anci Dy joined Kramer on the All-GLVC Team. UIndy has now placed four or more individuals on the all-conference team in each of the last 11 years. Each of the top-five finishers at the GLVC Championship automatically earned an all-league nod, with the remaining five competitors and major award winners voted on by the 13 head coaches.

Kramer is a first-time GLVC Player of the Year recipient and third-time All-GLVC honoree. The Spring Lake, Mich., native averaged 74.6 strokes per round this season and thrice won GLVC Player of the Week accolades.

Meanwhile, Nicoson earned Coach of the Year for the seventh straight season and has been voted the league's top mentor 10 of the past 11 springs. He led the Greyhounds to their 10th straight GLVC title last month – one of four team wins in 2021-22 – and later a runner-up finish at last week's NCAA DII East Regional.
 
The league also recognized 13 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award nominees and the team award winner, Missouri-St. Louis. With Dy earning the nod for UIndy, the student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced later this month.
