Most notably, she shot a 73 at this year's GLVC match play final to help lead the Hounds to a 10th straight conference title. Along with her impressive play on the course, Graf has thrived in the classroom as she has earned Academic All-GLVC honors twice and the GLVC Brother Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award two different times. She was also a 2020 WGCA All-American Scholar and a recipient of the Elite 90 award at the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. Graf holds a 4.00 GPA in Finance.
Â
Novikova, who has helped lead the women's tennis team to back-to-back NCAA DII National Semifinal appearances, is a three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American in doubles and a two-time ITA All-American in singles. Last year, she was selected to the 2021 ITA Collegiate All-Star Team with her role in a No. 1 ranking in doubles. Most recently, she was selected as the 2022 GLVC Player of the Year and earned All-GLVC honors for the third time in her career. Her work in the classroom and on the court has also helped her become a three-time ITA Division II Women Scholar Athlete over her career. Novikova earned a 3.87 GPA during undergrad (Business Administration & Marketing) along with a 4.00 GPA in her graduate work (Finance).
Â
Van Jaarsveld adds another impressive accolade to her already full trophy case at UIndy. In the pool, she has been a four-time NCAA DII National Champion and was most notably in 2021 the first Greyhound female in UIndy swimming & diving program history to win a national title. Other top awards she has gathered includes being a GLVC champion 14 times, a First Team All-GLVC honoree 11 times and an All-American selection 19 times. She was also recently tabbed as a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America selection for a third time in her career. Van Jaarsveld is studying Psychology with a 3.87 GPA.
Â
Hammond was crowned as the 2022 NCAA DII National Champion in the men's one-meter diving event and also placed fourth in the three-meter event at this year's Championships. Last season, he was the DII runner-up in the one-meter and over his career has claimed a pair of second place finishes in the one-meter at the GLVC Championships as well. His success on the diving board and in the classroom has helped him earn back-to-back CSCAA Scholar All-America honors in both 2020 and 2021. Hammond is studying Criminal Justice with a 3.73 GPA.
Â
Earning a spot on the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Third Team last year, Mast adds yet another impressive academic accomplishment to his name. He recently set a pair of school records on the golf course with a single round of 63 and a 54-hole score of -15 to win the West Liberty Invite back in early April. He finished tied for ninth individually at the 2022 DII National Championship and helped lead UIndy as a team to a National Semifinal appearance in 2021. He was a recipient of the 2021 GLVC Paragon Award which selects one male and female student-athlete in the conference based upon "academic excellence, athletic ability and achievement, character and leadership". Mast tallied a 3.70 undergrad GPA (Business Administration) and holds a 4.00 graduate GPA (Strategic Leadership & Design).
