INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's basketball team announced its complete 28-game regular season schedule on Tuesday, that includes 14 games in Nicoson Hall.
UIndy opens the 2022-23 season, their third under head coach Paul Corsaro, at home on November 11 against Ohio Dominican followed by Lake Erie on November 13. The Hounds open Great Lakes Valley Conference action on the road at Quincy before returning home to host William Jewell on December 1.
New to this years schedule is Christian Brothers University of the Gulf South Conference (GSC) on December 6. This will count as an in-region game for the Hounds as Christian Brothers (Memphis, Tennessee) is a state that borders Midwest region member Kentucky Wesleyan College (Owensboro, Kentucky).
UIndy's final home stand of the season will take place February 16-18 against Drury and Southwest Baptist. The Hounds are on the road the final week of play, travelling to Missouri-St. Louis and Missouri S&T.
Absent from this years schedule is the University of Southern Indiana, who departed the GLVC to become a NCAA Division I member. This is the first time since the 1977-78 season that the two teams will not face each other.
The exhibition schedule is still being finalized and will be announced upon completion.
