INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team took care of business on Friday afternoon at Key Stadium, defeating the Quincy Hawks by a convincing final of 4-0. With the win, the Hounds move to 3-2-3 overall on the season with a 1-2-2 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds found the scoreboard first in the 23rd minute off the foot of
Jakob David on a free kick just outside the box. This began a strong stretch of play the remainder of the half for the Hounds who netted two more before going into the halftime locker room. Those two goals came in the 26th minute when
Michael Tselios sent a header into the back of the net off an assist by
Owen Atkison, and in the 38th minute when
August Abrahamsen fired a shot past the keeper on a defensive error by Quincy.

At the end of the first half, UIndy had eight total shots while Quincy had just four. Each team managed one corner kick while the Greyhounds had eight fouls to just four by the Hawks.

In the final 45 minutes, the Hounds scored another goal at the 55th minute off the foot right foot of
Kabiru Gafar.
