INDIANAPOLIS—The nationally-ranked UIndy swimming & diving teams earned dual wins versus a pair of Division I's on Saturday. The UIndy women swim team hosted crosstown Butler in a one-sided 202-91 exhibiton win, while the Greyhound men and the divers took down former GLVC-rival Lindenwood, 172-128, at Indiana State.

VS. BUTLER
In a purely exhibiton meet, the Greyhounds dominated the visiting Bulldogs, winning 13 of 14 events on the afternoon.
Andrea Gomez headlined the day with a would-be B-cut time of 5:02:35 in the 500 free. The native of Pamplona, Spain later won the 200 free.

Celina Schmidt (100 breast, 200 IM) and
Isabella Revstedt (100 free, 100 back) also won two individual events, as did newcomer
Stefanie Markwardt (50 free, 200 breast)

UIndy's A and B teams finished ahead of Butler's best in both relays—the 200 medley and 200 free.

VS. LINDENWOOD
Reigning DII-champ
Julio Osuna showed his prowess on the boards, posting big scores in his first competition of the season. He compiled a winning total of 343.40 on the 1-meter and 322.90 on the 3-, both surpassing NCAA standards.

Alexis Lumaj was UIndy's top finisher in the women's diving events, taking second on the low board and fifth on the high.

In the lap pool,
Silas Buessing picked up first-place points in both the 200 back and 200 IM while also finishing second only to teammate
Jeron Thompson in the 100 back.

The Hounds' went 1-2-3 in the 50 free, as
Joao Silva (20.68),
Diego Mas (20.71) and
Aqeel Joseph (21.27) all touched to wall ahead of the fastest Lion.

UIndy also dominated the 100 fly, with
Elias Noe and his sub-50 time of 49.12 topping a quartet of Hounds at the top of the results. He is just .35 off of the B standard.

Austin Kehr won the 100 free in 46.07, while
Cedric Buessing took first in the 200 breast. UIndy bested Lindenwood in both relay events, kicking off the meet with a 400 medley win and capping it with a 200 free victory.

UIndy hosts Carson-Newman in two weeks, with the meet currently scheduled for Nov. 17-19.
