INDIANAPOLIS – UIndy swim & dive graduate students Johanna Buys and Serge Ahadzhanian have been named the GLVC Athletes of the Week in women's and men's swimming and diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 


WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

• Placed first in 50 freestyle (22.83) and 100 free (50.64)
• Swam 22.53 split on winning 200 free relay team (1:33.87)
• Earns fourth career Athlete of the Week Award (2/1/23, 11/22/22, 10/11/22, 10/22/21)
• Last Greyhounds' Athlete of the Week: Martina Torrent (1/18/23)

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Serge Ahadzhanian, #2 Indianapolis

• Won 100 butterfly (47.97) and 200 Free (1:40.78)
• Swam fly split in 47.25 on winning 400 medley relay team (3:16.76)
• Earns first career Athlete of the Week Award
