INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 7 UIndy men's lacrosse team (4-0) held Montevallo (2-3) scoreless for 32+ minutes on Saturday, earning a 12-4 victory over the visiting Falcons from Key Stadium.

Drew Billig matched Parker Kump's career points record in the first half, tallying a pair of points on one goal and one assist.

The defense really shined in the win, causing 19 of the Falcons' 32 turnovers.
Dougie Crawford led all players with five, while
Josh Jackson finished with seven scoops and three caused turnovers.

INS & OUTS
The Hounds outscored the Falcons, 5-0, in the second half, with
Ben Foster scoring three of his four goals after the break. Montevallo recorded 15 of its turnovers in the final 30 minutes, three of which coming on the clear attempt.

Billig tied Kump in the record book with a goal just 45 seconds into the second quarter to put the Hounds up 6-3. He dished out an assist on the previous goal, finding
Nick Randgaard near the end of the first for the netter.

In addition to scoring, Foster was instrumental in giving UIndy second chances, recording five ground balls on the offensive end.
Caleb Parker led all players with nine scoops off 11 wins on the faceoff dot.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Hounds picked up 51 ground balls compared to the Falcons' 23, as eight players finished with three or more.
Triston Schaffer secured four scoops in the win.
- Ten Greyhounds were credited with a caused turnover, with
Kyle Basch adding three to his two goals.

KC Carlson played big between the pipes, recording seven of his eight saves in the second half.
- In addition to scoring the first goal of the contest,
Nathan Lam added another score and an assist to finish with three points.
