Swimming & Diving Championships Kickoff in Downtown Indy Tuesday

INDIANAPOLIS – The 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships kick off this week right here in Indianapolis. Co-hosted by UIndy and Indiana Sports Corp, the meet will be held at the world-class IU Natatorium downtown March 7-11.
 
The action starts Tuesday with the diving pre-quals at 10 a.m. ET. Five UIndy divers will be competing for a spot in the finals, as Alexis Lumaj, Mikaela Starr, Cade Hammond, Jason Lenzo and Julio Osuna received invitations.
 
The Championships officially begin Tuesday evening with both the men's and women's 800 freestyle relays starting at 6 p.m. The meet continues Wednesday with swimming preliminaries at 10 a.m., diving finals at 1 p.m. and swimming finals at 6 p.m. The schedule remains the same for the next three days, concluding Saturday night when the team national champions are crowned.
