QUINCY, Ill. – The "David vs. Goliath" battle is here at the seven-seeded University of Indianapolis baseball team and the one-seed and No. 6-ranked Quincy University Hawks (47-9) battle it out at the 2023 NCAA DII Midwest Super Regional starting on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. The victor of the series will advance to the NCAA Championship tournament in Cary, N.C. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.
The super regional is a best-of-three format, with the final two games, if necessary, to be played on Saturday. Quincy's QU Stadium will be playing host to this year's super, just as they did the previous season against UIS.
The Midwest Super Regional will be streamed for free on the GLVC Sports Network. The
GLVCSN is available online, as well as on the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps and GLVCSN OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV. The familiar voice of Will Connerly will be the play-by-play for this weekend just like he did at UIS for the previous weekend.
Alongside the GLVC Sports Network, UIndy's own WICR 88.7 The Diamond is making out the trip and can be listened to locally in Indianapolis at 88.7 FM or online
here. Caden Colford and Nathaniel Finch will be on the call for all the contests.
If you're unable to watch or listen, live stats will be available
