KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The University of Indianapolis men's basketball team made a staggering 16 three pointers, a season best and the most in a game since the 2017-18 season, in their 86-48 victory against the Truman State Bulldogs. The lethality from deep, alongside defensive play, lifted the Hounds to their sixth straight victory.

Outside of the dominant offensive effort, the Hounds were lock down on the defensive end, with 48 being the least amount of point the Hounds have allowed this season.

Kendrick Tchoua led the Hounds offensively with 16 points and six boards, dishing out three assists in the process. He was joined in double digits by five different Greyhounds in
David Ejah,
Paul Zilinskas,
Jesse Bingham,
Jarvis Walker and
Zac Szul.

After a first half of action which saw the Hounds shoot a staggering 50 percent from the field and go 6-9 from beyond the arc, the Hounds came out fast in the second half, with Bingham nailing a long-ball just 16 seconds into play. An Ejah layup followed, igniting a 16-3 run which ballooned the Hounds' lead to 50-28. The run ended just as it started, with a splash by Bingham.

It was lethality from three-point range that took the UIndy lead from 50-28 all the way to 69-38 at the ten-minute mark with the Greyhounds going 4-6 from beyond the arc during that stretch. Six different players scored the basketball during that timeframe, with
Julian Steinfeld, who ended his day with four points and nine boards, grabbing the highlight, slamming it home off a dime from Bingham.

The dominant second half by the Hounds ended with a 19-10 run where Ejah, Szul and Tchoua all recorded multiple buckets to bring the game to its final 86-48 score.
