INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy volleyball team fell to Lewis in three sets Saturday afternoon at Ruth Lilly Fitness Center. The Greyhounds are now 14-8 (4-3 GLVC) going into the final three weeks of the regular season.
INS & OUTS
The Greyhounds and Flyers battled in the second frame, with Lewis claiming the set, 25-23. The Hounds hit .231 during the set totaling 13 kills with just four attacking errors.
Three Greyhounds had three kills during the second set, including freshman
Madeline Lynch and sophomores
Maddie Berger and
Riley Laine. Senior Sophia Parlatni led the team with 11 kills on the afternoon.
On defense, sophomore libero
Ellie Spang scooped up 20 digs and one ace. Laine, along with
Macy Bruton, also recorded one service ace.
INSIDE THE BOX

Lauren Peal and sophomore
Allie Wuestenfeld reached double-digit digs with 15 and 12, respectively.

Claire Morris dished out 30 of the Hounds' 34 assists.
- Freshman
Kelsey McKenney led the team in blocks once again, assisting on three stops. Parlanti had the sole UIndy solo block during the contest.
UP NEXT
The Greyhounds close their three-match homestead with matchups against Maryville and Missouri S&T next week. The Hounds will face the Saints on Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. and follow with the Miners on Saturday at 3 p.m.
