INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy women's volleyball team downed No. 20 Quincy, 3-1, to close out their regular season schedule. The Greyhounds handed the Hawks their second conference loss of the season with both teams heading into the GLVC Tournament next weekend.

Jason Reed secured his 200th career victory. Reed, appointed to the position in 2013, is the third Greyhound volleyball coach to reach this milestone. This includes UIndy Jody Rogers and Sue Willey

INS & OUTS
Ruth Lilly was electric during the contest, thanks to the help of the UIndy men's and women's swim and dive teams. The Greyhounds came out loud and proud to support their fellow student athletes.

UIndy opened the game by winning the first set, stunning Quincy. The Hawks fought back in set two but were no match for the power of the Greyhound offense in the final two frames.

Senior
Sophia Parlanti took charge of the Hounds' offense, finishing with 18 kills and hitting .292. Freshman
Madeline Lynch was also fantastic on the floor. Lynch grabbed 17 kills of her own and hit .444. Redshirt junior
Claire Morris picked up 40 assists during the match.

On defense, UIndy compiled 15 total blocks compared to the Hawks' four. Freshman
Kelsey McKenney led the Greyhounds in the category with 4.5 total blocks.

Ellie Spang led the team in digs with 20.
- UIndy and Quincy tied the score 21 times during the match, with the lead changing nine times.

Caitlin Blomberg entered the court during the second frame, finishing with one kill.

The Greyhounds continue to lead the Hawks 20-13 in the all-time series ... Elana Kasavica finished with a double-double for Quincy, with 25 kills and 14 digs.

UIndy heads to Williamsville, Ill. on Thursday, Nov. 21 for the GLVC Championship Tournament. The Greyhounds wait to see where they are seeded and who their first opponent is at the Williamsville HS Fieldhouse.
