SACRAMENTO, Calif. -
Felix Rivet of the UIndy men's cross country team took on the NCAA DII Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The national race took place at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, Calif.
The 10k race featured a field of 262 student-athletes from all over the country. Rivet placed 122nd at 31:20.8, just one second off his personal best. The junior set a mile pace of 5:04.29 during the race.
William Amponsah won the individual title completing the run 19:40.8. Colorado School of Mines took the team title with 63 points.
