INDIANAPOLIS - UIndy Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Brad Robinson announced Thursday that the cross country teams will no longer make their 2026 debut at tomorrow's Wildcat Twilight Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan.

The decision was made due to the expected high temperatures and continued excessive heat advisory throughout the state of Indiana.

The Greyhounds are now set to begin action this fall on Saturday, Sept. 19, at the John McNichols Inviational in Terre Haute. As a result of tomorrow's change, UIndy plans to explore additional meets later in the season to make up for the missed racing opportunity.
