TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The University of Indianapolis men's and women's cross country teams kicked off their season Saturday at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. Battling some the the nation's top Division I teams, the Greyhound women finished 28th in the championship 6K race, while the UIndy men placed 34th in the 8K.
WOMEN'S RECAP
Junior
Elise Peckinpaugh prevailed as the top non-DI finisher in the women's race, resulting in a polished 22:49.2 result for the Hounds. Sophomore
Savannah Danielson finished not far behind at 24:26.4 across the line. Setting a 6K PR was redshirt-freshman

MEN'S RECAP
Shifting to the men's results, sophomore
Ian Pugh finished second out of the non-DI runners in the men's 8K championship, clocking a 26:35.6 finish. Junior
Conyer Wilson was the next Hound to cross the finish line at a 27:47.7 result. Right after came junior
Yanis Le Mouillour, recording a 27:54.2 finish.
The men's field included 14 of the top 30 DI men's programs in the nation.
