KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The UIndy women's volleyball team defeated Truman in a five-set thriller on Friday night. With three games left, the Greyhounds are fighting for a spot in the GLVC tournament.
Redshirt junior setter
Claire Morris had a double-double during the match-up against the Bulldogs. Morris grabbed 10 digs on top of 43 assists.
INS & OUTS
With the Bulldogs up 2-1, the Greyhounds fought back and took the final two frames. UIndy had 16 kills during the fourth set and held Truman's to only 10.
Senior
Sophia Parlanti finished with 16 kills for the Hounds. Freshman
Madeline Lynch was not far behind her teammate with 14 kills, hitting .273.
On defense, sophomore libero
Ellie Spang grabbed 25 digs. Sophomore
Macy Bruton picked up 11 digs of her own.
